High Desert Corvette Club was founded in June of 1991 by Mike and Kemi Broadley. Club members enjoy spending time together and sharing their love for Corvettes. The members are primarily from the Central Oregon communities of Bend, Redmond, Madras, Sisters, Prineville, and LaPine. HDCC members attend meetings, social nights out, go on cruises; participate in car shows as well as parades. The Club has a biennial event, Corvettes on the High Desert, which raises funds for a local charity, voted on by Club members. The Club also does road clean up on a section of Highway 126 a couple times a year. The Club is about fun and camaraderie so members are free to participate at any level they feel comfortable.

Chevy of Bend

To say that Chevy of Bend is part of the community is a bit of an  understatement. Founded in 1916 by Walter Coombs, grandfather of Robert  Thomas, this Chevy dealership is the oldest in Central Oregon, serving  Bend, Madras, LaPine, Three Rivers, Redmond, Sisters, and Sun River,  Oregon. It occupied seven sites in Bend prior to settling in its current  location on Third Street in 1967. As Bob Thomas Chevrolet, the  dealership was a vital presence in the community, building solid  relationships both as an employer and as a trusted local business  serving generations of families.

After  94 years in business, Chevrolet of Bend, OR joined the Lithia Motors  family of auto dealerships, and the story that began with one great  Oregon company continues with another. Founded in 1946 as a single  Medford dealership, Lithia is one of America’s largest automotive  retailers and publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange .

Today, backed by the  strength of our parent company, Chevrolet of Bend can offer our  customers greater selection, higher trade-in values, and solid financing  options. All with the same friendly, personal service you expect from  your hometown dealership. Because we’ll always be true to our Central  Oregon roots.
